Complete Hard Rock Location List Worldwide

Hard Rock opened its first location in London in 1971. The brand grew slowly for two decades, then expanded rapidly through the 1990s and 2000s. The 2010s were the strongest decade in Hard Rock history with 267 new openings worldwide.

Since 2020, the network has entered a new phase: 174 locations closed in seven years, slightly more than opened – the first period of net contraction since the brand's founding. For a deeper analysis of what these numbers mean, including the shift toward casinos and the question of whether Hard Rock is losing touch with the next generation, read the full Hard Rock location history analysis.
