Hard Rock Cafe Kona opened in 1998 and closed in 2008. Located in Kailua-Kona on Hawaii’s Big Island, this cafe targeted tourists exploring the island’s west coast and volcanic landscapes. It counted as an official Hard Rock visit and represented Hard Rock’s early presence outside Oahu.
