The stadium is currently undergoing complete renovations including new roofing, lighting, VIP boxes, and dining areas. The goal is to transform the stadium into a year-round cultural, commercial, and gastronomic destination, not just for concerts and sports events. Plans also include upgrading from 180 to 250 premium boxes, creating a "boutique stadium" experience. Discussions are ongoing with local and provincial authorities to position La Plata as a top entertainment hub for major international acts.
