Hi, we are Vicky & Malte
Two travelers who decided to turn their lives upside down and, in 2021, chose to start a long-distance relationship between Peru and Germany. Since then we are exploring the whole world together. We work in consulting and tourism, and since September 2023, we’ve been using every spare minute to work on our travel blog and Instagram account. Our free time, especially while Malte was completing his master’s in International Tourism Management, was spent on long trips through South America, North America, and Europe. What To Expect From Our City Guides And Itineraries
When it comes to accommodation, we focus on places that are clean, centrally located, and highly rated. You won’t find us writing about luxury hotels like the Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons here (but feel free to share our travel blog with fellow travelers, so maybe one day we can afford them!). Instead, we tend to stay in private rooms in hostels, boutique hotels, or smaller, family-run spots. In our city guides and itineraries, you’ll find the best travel tips.

Our Hard Rock Cafe Passion
Find Out How This Crazy Hobby Started
Hard Rock International, known for its Hard Rock Cafes and hotels around the world, has a special meaning for us. We first met in April 2021 at the Hard Rock Hotel Cancun, Mexico. Vicky was surprised at first to meet someone crazy enough to collect visits to Hard Rock Cafes and Hotels. But I (Malte) was relieved when she told me she loves the brand too and fully supports this hobby. Since then, we’ve been traveling together to explore Hard Rock Cafes and Hotels around the globe. On our Hard Rock Cafe page, you’ll find everything you need—open locations, closed ones, upcoming openings, my 200+ visits, and more. Here you see a picture from my first visit in 2009 at the Hard Rock Cafe Miami, and a special one from 2021, when Vicky and I returned together to this cafe!
