North America shows the full evolution of Hard Rock. Canada saw an early wave in the 90s that almost completely disappeared, with only a small comeback now focused on Ottawa and new hotel projects. Mexico shifted strongly toward resorts, with Cancun, Riviera Maya, Los Cabos and Vallarta becoming hotel-driven hubs while many classic city cafes closed. The United States remains the core market, mixing iconic long-running cafes like New York and Las Vegas with a strong casino and hotel expansion strategy. At the same time, many traditional downtown cafes have disappeared over the years, clearly showing the brand’s shift from standalone city restaurants to integrated entertainment destinations.
