MEET VICKY AND MALTE
Hi everyone! I’m from Peru, and I really enjoy traveling around the world. I discovered my love for exploring when I was a kid, going on trips with my family within my country. I realized that I loved discovering new places, going on hikes, and learning about Peru. As I grew up, I started traveling to other countries, often with my sister Roxy. Currently, I live in Lima and work full-time in construction, specializing in finance and accounting consulting as an industrial engineering professional. Fortunately, I work remotely, which allows me to travel more frequently with Malte, We both have a strong passion for traveling, and we usually enjoy so much everything that comes with it.
Hello everyone! I am from Germany, and my passion for traveling started early, thanks to my parents who showed my brothers and me so much of the world. As I got older, I started traveling on my own. I tried a lot – from Interrail through Europe to Work & Travel in Australia and a semester abroad in Costa Rica.
During my travels, I discovered photography and tasting local food became an important part of my travels. I’ve tried some unique dishes – insects in Bangkok, alpaca in Peru and llama in Bolivia. I’m currently working as a Process Manager in Tourism and I hope it will open doors for me to see even more of the world. Oh, and I have an slightly unusual hobby, collecting Hard Rock Cafes.

DISTANCE
A long distance relationship isn’t for everyone and it isn’t always easy. But when we are traveling as a couple somewhere around the world it is even more fun.
FUN FACT
Having consecutive birthdays comes with advantages. Back-to-back drinking sessions, and the chance to travel just once but cover both our birthdays.
TRAVELING
Both of us have already seen a lot of the world and in total we have visited over 50 countries already.
Still many places to go.

Hard Rock locations are special for us because we met in Hard Rock Hotel Cancun and they ensure that we visit places we might not have otherwise explored.
OUR IDEA AND VISION
THE STORY
Since we discovered our love for new places, we have wanted to share our adventures with others. It all started with sharing our travels separately on our own Instagram accounts long before we even met. Shortly after we met, and started traveling as an Intl. Travel couple we created an Instagram account together called ‘travelingisourpassion‘ where we shared our past travels – whether alone or together. But you know what? It didn’t feel perfect to us because the Instagram format didn’t have enough ‘space’ for everything we wanted to share. We’ve had many amazing years together, but this is just the beginning.
OUR IDEA
That’s when the idea came to us – why not create something more meaningful and detailed?
So we put our heads together and built this travel blog from scratch, all by ourselves. It’s our own special space where we share our travels, tips and experiences with you in a more personal and engaging way, giving you the perfect place to prepare for your next adventure.
We aim to provide value to all kinds of travelers—solo adventurers, families, couples, and those, like us, managing to explore while having a long-distance relationship-we’re here to share our stories and learn from yours.
