Hard Rock expanded into Central Asia in 2014 with the opening of Hard Rock Cafe Almaty, introducing the brand to one of the region’s key cultural and commercial centers. The cafe operated for nearly six years before closing in 2020, concluding the company’s activity in the country. Since that closure there have been no open Hard Rock locations in Kazakhstan, marking a defined but limited chapter within the broader Asian expansion.
