All Hard Rock Locations in China

Expansion into the Chinese market began in 1994 with early openings in Beijing and Hong Kong, marking one of Hard Rock’s first major moves into Asia. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s additional cafes and retail concepts opened across Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Macau and several Hong Kong districts, creating a broad but fluctuating footprint that experienced multiple closures over the years. A new development phase emerged in the late 2010s with hotel based projects in Shenzhen and Dalian alongside selected cafe reopenings, while several legacy locations in Hong Kong and Macau concluded operations. Today open venues in Jiuzhaigou and Shenzhen, together with hotel driven concepts in Dalian and Shenzhen, represent a restructured and more hospitality focused chapter within the wider Asian network.
