Hard Rock Locations in Canada

Canada has been part of the Hard Rock story since 1978 with the opening of Hard Rock Cafe Toronto, making it one of the earlier North American markets outside the United States. Throughout the 1990s the brand expanded rapidly across cities such as Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary and Ottawa, but many of these locations closed during the 2000s and 2010s, including the flagship Toronto cafe in 2017. In recent years a new phase has begun with the reopening of Hard Rock Cafe Ottawa in 2025 alongside major developments such as Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Ottawa and Hard Rock Hotel London Ontario, supported by casino and hotel based rock shops. Today Canada combines long standing locations like Niagara Falls with a renewed hospitality driven expansion strategy in the North American market.
